Management quota is a portion of seats that engineering colleges fill directly through their own admission process, separate from government counselling (KCET/COMEDK). In Karnataka, Private (Unaided) and Private Aided colleges reserve 25% for management quota, 45% for KCET, and 30% for COMEDK. Deemed Universities like PES University and Christ University operate differently — they fill their non-KCET seats (up to 60%) through their own tests and direct admissions.
