BGSCET was established in 2022 under the BGSKH Education Trust, a unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (SAST), which itself was founded in 1974 by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Mutt. The Trust operates today under the spiritual leadership of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji.

Total UG intake is 360. There are no Civil, Mechanical, ECE or EEE branches.
What are the KCET and COMEDK codes for BGSCET and how does admission work?
BGSCET uses KCET code E-286 and COMEDK UGET code E-207. Admission to B.E. is through (a) Government/CET quota via KCET, (b) COMEDK UGET quota and (c) Management quota seats, where valid JEE Main scores are also accepted. The 2024-25 actual intake mix was approximately 56% KCET, 10% COMEDK, 29% Management and 5% supernumerary NRI.
What is the eligibility criterion for B.E. admission at BGSCET?
Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC or equivalent 10+2 with English as a language and Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics as the optional subject. Minimum aggregate is 45% (general category) or 40% (SC/ST/OBC) in PCM/optional for CET and COMEDK streams, and 60% as the management-quota benchmark. A valid KCET, COMEDK UGET or JEE Main rank is required.
What is the 2025-26 Management Quota fee structure at BGSCET?
BGSCET 2025-26 Management Quota tuition per year: CSE Rs 5,00,000; AI&ML Rs 4,50,000; AI&DS Rs 4,50,000; ISE Rs 4,00,000; CSD Rs 3,50,000. University fees, exam fees, uniform and hostel fees are separate. The COMEDK 2025-26 consortium fee for BGSCET is around Rs 3,10,000 per year, and KCET Government-quota tuition is approximately Rs 87,935 — 1,13,205 per year per KEA notification.
