Akash Institute of Engineering and Technology — Fees, Management Quota, Cutoffs 2026

No. AIET in Devanahalli is a VTU-affiliated private B.E. college under the Akash Group of Institutions (Akash Educational & Development Trust) and has no relationship whatsoever with Aakash Educational Services / Aakash BYJU'S, the national NEET and JEE coaching chain. AIET awards a four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree; Aakash BYJU'S runs test-prep coaching. The two entities share a phonetic spelling but are different companies in different sectors.

AIET was established in 2023. The first B.E. cohort was admitted in AY 2023-24, which means the first graduating batch completes the four-year VTU programme around 2027. AIET is located at Prasannahalli Main Road, Akkupete Village, Kasaba Hobli, Devanahalli, Bengaluru Rural — 562110, Karnataka, immediately adjacent to Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL). The campus is shared with Akash Institute of Medical Sciences, Akash College of Nursing and Akash College of Pharmacy as part of a 36-40 acre Akash Group of Institutions master estate on the north-Bengaluru airport corridor; the AIET-specific plot area is not separately published.

Under the COMEDK quota, published 2024-25 tuition fees were approximately ₹2.37 lakh per year for CSE; ₹2.05 lakh for CSE-AIML, CSE-Cyber Security, CSE-Data Science, standalone AIML and ISE; ₹1.97 lakh for ECE; and ₹1.70 lakh for Mechanical Engineering, plus a ₹20,000 university fee component. The 2025-26 COMEDK structure is released via COMEDK's annual notification. The KEA-quota KFRC 2025-26 branch-wise fee must be verified directly from kea.kar.nic.in. AIET does not presently offer M.Tech programmes — neither akashiet.com's course list nor the COMEDK directory lists any M.Tech tracks at AIET — and it does not have a VTU-recognised PhD research centre on its published list. AIET's postgraduate offerings are limited to MBA (admitted via Karnataka-PGCET, KMAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT or GMAT under code B097) and MCA (primarily Karnataka-PGCET, code C550, approved intake 60 seats).
