How is SNPS-U connected to Sapthagiri College of Engineering?
Sapthagiri College of Engineering (SCE), founded in 2001 under the Sri Srinivasa Educational and Charitable Trust and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), was the predecessor engineering institution. The 2023 notification upgraded that college into Sapthagiri NPS University, and the engineering faculty, infrastructure and NAAC / NBA accreditations from SCE were carried over into the new university's School of Engineering.
