No — IISc B.Tech admissions are strictly through JEE Advanced via JoSAA counselling, NOT JEE Main. For the B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing (running since 2022 with ~52 seats) and the three new programmes launching AY 2026-27 (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanics & Computing, Materials Science & Engineering), candidates must first clear JEE Main, then qualify JEE Advanced within the eligible rank band, and participate in JoSAA counselling to be allotted an IISc seat. There is no separate IISc application form for B.Tech. JEE Main scores alone are accepted for the different B.S. (Research) programme, alongside JEE Advanced, IAT and NEET-UG (Biology track).
