How to read KCET marks vs rank
KCET rank planning is different from a simple scorecard lookup. Use marks to estimate competitiveness, then use old cutoffs to map realistic college and branch targets.
Small gaps matter most near the top
At RVCE, BMSCE, MSRIT and PES-level branches, a few hundred ranks can change the college or branch. Treat old cutoff ranks as a range, not a guarantee.
Category and round change the result
GM, reservation, special-category and Hyderabad-Karnataka seats all move differently. This page shows only GM KCET 2024 numbers pulled from the database.
KCET document checklist
Keep scanned copies and originals ready. KEA can ask for category-specific proof during verification, option entry, admission order download or college reporting.
- UGCET 2026 application printout and final submitted details
- KCET admission ticket / hall ticket
- SSLC / Class 10 marks card for date-of-birth proof
- 2nd PUC / Class 12 marks card with PCM marks visible
- Study certificate countersigned as required by KEA
- Verification slip and secret key / option-entry credentials after verification
- Caste, income, Kannada medium, rural, 371-J or special-category certificates where claimed
- Aadhaar or government ID, passport photos and fee-payment proof

Are KCET 2025 cutoffs loaded on CollegeAndFees?
No. This page intentionally labels the table as KCET 2024 and shows a visible 2025 update pending note. We will add 2025 only after the database has verified rows for that year.
Which KCET category is shown in the cutoff table?
The table uses General Merit (GM) rows from the cutoffs table where exam is KCET or KEA and year is 2024. Reservation and special-category rows should be checked separately on the college page.
When will KCET 2026 option entry start?
KEA had published the engineering draft seat matrix by 2 June 2026. Exact option-entry and allotment dates should be confirmed on the official KEA UGCET 2026 page before making any admission decision.
Can I use KCET 2024 ranks to predict 2026 admission?
Use them as a directional range only. Seat matrix changes, category mix, branch demand, exam difficulty and the final KEA counselling schedule can all move closing ranks.
Do I need management quota if my KCET rank is low?
Not always. First compare KCET branches that remain realistic, then COMEDK and management quota. Management quota is useful when the target branch or college is unlikely through counselling, but fees and receipt terms must be verified before payment.
