1MSRIT fills management-quota B.E. seats (25% of intake per its AICTE Mandatory Disclosure) through direct admission on a first-come, first-allotment basis. Here is the step-by-step process:
2Step 1 — Check eligibility: pass 10+2 with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC-Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics, and have appeared in at least one entrance exam — MSRIT's AICTE Mandatory Disclosure states management-quota admission considers any one of KCET, COMEDK, JEE or an institution entrance test.
3Step 2 — Confirm branch availability early: management seats are allotted first-come, first-served and close once filled. Message a College AndFees counsellor on Whats App for current branch availability before visiting.
4Step 3 — Visit and submit documents: bring originals and photocopies of the 10th marks card, 12th marks card, rank card of any one entrance exam (KCET / COMEDK / JEE), Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, 4 passport photos, Aadhaar card, and caste certificate if applicable.
5Step 4 — Allotment and written quote: seats are confirmed on merit and arrival order; get the branch, the total payable and the year-wise split in writing. MSRIT's official fee book lists a single COMEDK/Management category rate (₹3,32,210 first-year total, AY 2025-26); Karnataka law prohibits capitation, so any amount that will not appear on an institution receipt has no official basis.
6Step 5 — Fee payment and confirmation: pay only into the institution's account through the official payment channel, collect an official receipt for every component, and confirm the refund policy in writing before paying. Hostel charges are billed separately.
