Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences NEET-UG cutoffs

Two official KEA cut-off sets are shown for Sapthagiri (KEA code M064), both from CET-2024 Round 2 — the latest published KEA medical cut-offs. The first table is the government/state-quota closing ranks (Kannada-medium/rural sub-quota closings that round: GM-Kannada 90,834 · GM-Rural 83,889 · 2A-Rural 94,082 · 2B-Rural 86,048 · 3A-Rural 83,924 · 3B-Rural 86,554 · SC-Kannada 2,47,212 · SC-Rural 2,38,030 · ST-Rural 2,04,413). The second is from KEA's separate private-quota cut-off publication: the private (P), open, NRI and Others/management seats also close on NEET rank in KEA counselling at this college. The NEET-PG rows are last-allotted ranks — the worst NEET-PG 2025 All India Rank that was still allotted a seat at Sapthagiri (KEA PG option code M43) in the final round in which that course and quota was allotted — computed by us from KEA's official PG NEET-2025 round-wise final allotment lists (non-in-service Round 1 of 29-11-2025, Round 2 of 24-12-2025, mop-up of 26-02-2026 and the stray rounds of 07-03-2026 and 11-03-2026, plus the in-service lists — R1 final 12-12-2025, R2 final 23-12-2025 and the mop-up finals of 26-02-2026 — in which Sapthagiri's only in-service allotments were one MD General Medicine and one MD Radio-Diagnosis H&FW seat in the R2 final). They are historical allotment data, not qualifying thresholds for the next cycle. No candidate was allotted MD Biochemistry or MD Physiology at Sapthagiri in any 2025 KEA round, no NRI-quota (N) PG seat was allotted at the college, and Sapthagiri has no rows in MCC's all-India NEET-PG 2025 allotment lists (checked across all four MCC rounds) — its MD/MS seats are filled through KEA counselling. DM/MCh super-speciality seats are separate (NEET-SS via MCC) and are not covered by these tables.

The college publishes no scholarship scheme of its own, but its parent Sapthagiri NPS University publishes a university scholarship policy covering merit, sports (national/international), Defence-quota, rural, single-parent, orphan, labour-card, sibling, NCC and NSS categories — one scholarship per student, merit-ranked through the College And Fees counsellor (amounts not published). Infrastructure & facilities

Labs, library, sports, hostels & campus facilities

Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre sits at Chikkasandra on Hesaraghatta Main Road in north-west Bengaluru, run by the Sri Srinivasa Educational & Charitable Trust — which in 2023 established its own Sapthagiri NPS University (Karnataka Act 18 of 2023), of which the college is now the School of Medicine. Its teaching hospital, Sapthagiri Hospital (registered 2010), holds a current NABH accreditation (certificate H-2024-1311, valid January 2024 to January 2028) and the college's NMC disclosures record 1,070 teaching beds plus a separate 440-bed super-speciality hospital block — about 1,510 beds combined (the university's pages claim 'over 1,700 beds', recorded as a conflict). Disclosed clinical volumes are heavy: about 3,031 outpatients a day across the two hospitals, 282 admissions a day, 61 major and 41 minor operations a day, and 8,33,353 outpatient visits in 2021. Hostel capacity is among the largest disclosed in our coverage — separate UG, PG, intern and super-speciality blocks for men and women (roughly 480 + 90 + 70 + 80 places for men and 463 + 90 + 80 + 80 for women per the NMC proforma), plus nurses' and resident doctors' quarters. The campus includes a clinical skills lab, lecture theatres, sports facilities and a public online drug formulary — an unusual transparency artifact.

Centres, patents, grants & MoU partners

Established in 2011, Sapthagiri is one of Bengaluru's largest private postgraduate medical centres: 19 MD/MS disciplines totalling 190 seats — after the NMC sharply increased its clinical intakes in AY 2023-24 (General Medicine to 32 seats, General Surgery to 26, OBG to 25, Anaesthesiology to 24) — plus 5 DM/MCh super-speciality courses (15 seats) including DM Cardiology and MCh Surgical Oncology. It maintains the NMC-mandated teaching faculty complement across its 22 teaching departments (the published teaching faculty list of November 2024 is a named roster with no official total). The college hosted the international oncology conference CANPATH-2024, publishes a public online drug formulary, and in 2023 became the School of Medicine of its trust's new Sapthagiri NPS University. Published results: MBBS Phase-I November-2023 pass rate 89 percent; February-2023 cycle 72-84 percent across phases; PG examinations July-2023, 95 percent.
