Akash Institute of Medical Sciences NEET-UG cutoffs
These are NEET-UG closing ranks for the government (Karnataka state-quota) MBBS seats at Akash Institute of Medical Sciences (KEA code M078), allotted by KEA on NEET rank in CET-2024 Round 2 (the latest published KEA medical cut-off). Kannada-medium/rural sub-quota closings that round: GM-Kannada 99,759 · GM-Rural 81,575 · 1R 93,197 · SC-Rural 2,34,702. Management and NRI quota seats are filled on NEET-qualified merit at the quota fee and have no separate rank cut-off. PG (MD/MS): the NEET-PG 2025 closing ranks are the last-allotted All-India NEET-PG ranks per course and quota at Akash (KEA PG college code M52 — distinct from its UG code M078), computed from KEA's official round-wise final allotment lists (Round 1 of 29-11-2025, Round 2 of 24-12-2025, the mop-up round of 26-02-2026 and the stray vacancy round of 11-03-2026); each row shows the final round in which that course-quota combination was allotted. Government-quota closings are the last-allotted rank across all KEA category codes published in the list (GM, 2AG, S1G and so on), so the general-merit (GM) closing is typically earlier than the figure shown. These are allotment ranks, not score cut-offs, and they shift every year. All Akash PG seats are KEA-counselled: as a private RGUHS-affiliated college it has no MCC All-India-quota PG seats, and no NRI-quota PG allotment appears in any KEA 2025 round.

Infrastructure & facilities
Labs, library, sports, hostels & campus facilities
Akash Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre sits on a 35-40 acre campus at Devanahalli on Bengaluru's northern edge, next to Kempegowda International Airport, run by the Akash Education & Development Trust (chairman Mr. K. Muniraju) alongside the group's other institutions. Its teaching hospital, Akash Hospital, was registered in 2013 — three years before the college — and the college's current citizen's charter records 1,085 teaching beds plus 105 non-teaching beds, a 105-bed ICU complex and 9 major + 7 minor operation theatres with about 300 teaching faculty and 554 nursing staff (earlier official disclosures recorded 760-770 beds — cited as a conflict). In the college's published clinical statistics for January-June 2022 the hospital saw 2,36,577 outpatients (about 1,307 a day) at 81 percent bed occupancy, with 1,800 births and nearly 15,000 surgeries in six months. Academic facilities include a central library of 10,000+ books with an e-library, air-conditioned lecture theatres, the Akash Centre for Advanced Simulation (inaugurated in January 2024 with the RGUHS Vice-Chancellor as chief guest), an air-conditioned auditorium seating about 2,000, separate men's and women's hostels with messes, sports fields, a gym, and a bus and ambulance fleet.

Established in 2016, Akash Institute of Medical Sciences has grown quickly: its MBBS intake rose from 150 to 250 with the AY 2025-26 increase, and its 18 MD/MS disciplines total 137 seats after several clinical courses gained four seats each in the NMC's January-2026 matrix. It maintains the NMC-mandated teaching faculty complement — the current citizen's charter records about 300 teaching faculty — and runs the Akash Centre for Advanced Simulation (2024) alongside its clinical skills lab. The college's first MBBS batch, ceremonially named 'Advaya', graduated on 18 September 2022 with the Chief Minister of Karnataka and the RGUHS Vice-Chancellor in attendance; the 2025 postgraduate university results published by the college show all 62 listed PG students passing.
