Raja Rajeswari Medical College & Hospital sits at Kambipura on Mysore Road in south-west Bengaluru, run by the Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust (1992) of the Dr. A. C. Shanmugam family, whose group also operates the RRDCH dental, RR nursing, RR pharmacy and RR/ACS engineering colleges. Its teaching hospital pre-dates the college (registered 2004) and the NMC's current pro-forma records 1,113 beds plus a 20-bed emergency unit (an earlier KPME certificate recorded 1,360 teaching + 100 non-teaching beds — recorded as a conflict); in May 2026 alone the hospital logged 72,921 outpatient visits (about 2,352 a day) and 3,780 admissions, and it served as a designated COVID hospital in 2020.
