About Ramaiah Medical College
Ramaiah Medical College (long known as M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, MSRMC) is a private MBBS college in Bengaluru, established in 1979 by the Gokula Education Foundation, the trust founded by the late Sri M. S. Ramaiah. It is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and, since the 2022-23 academic year, functions as a constituent college of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS); it was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) up to 2021-22. The college admits 150 MBBS students a year and also runs MD/MS and DM/M.Ch programmes. Clinical training is at the attached 1,392-bed Ramaiah Medical College Hospital (RMCH), set up on the campus in 1984.
