It is Permitted, not yet Recognised. MBBS runs under an NMC Letter of Permission and is on annual renewal — the NMC MARB 2025 disclosure records the status as 'Applied for Fourth Renewal'. Formal recognition is considered only when the first batch reaches the final MBBS examination, which is normal for a college that admitted its first batch in AY 2021-22.
Is BAVMC Pune the same as the Atal Bihari Vajpayee colleges in Delhi or Haryana?
No. Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College, Pune (NMC code MH/008/P/3, MUHS-affiliated, run by PMC-MET) is a distinct college.
