Cutoffs · NEET-UG

MIMER Medical College NEET-UG cutoffs

All ranks are NEET-UG 2025 All-India Ranks of the last candidate allotted to MIMER (college code 1112), recomputed by us from the official Maharashtra CET Cell candidate-wise CAP selection lists — these are CAP-round closing positions, not a CET Cell-published cutoff document. The State quota and the Institutional Quota (I.Q.) run on separate merit lists and must never be mixed: in the final private-inclusive list (Stray CAP Round 1) the State quota closed at AIR 353059 while the I.Q. closed at AIR 861072 — roughly 5 lakh ranks apart. State-quota round trend: AIR 348341 in CAP R-1 and R-2, AIR 353059 from CAP R-3. Every round's list shows the same 150-seat split: 127 State-quota and 23 I.Q. allotments ('(Ret.)' retained-seat rows included — each list is the cumulative allotment state). Seats still vacant after Stray CAP Round 1 went to the college-run Institute Level Stray Vacancy Round under CET Cell Notice No. 27 dated 17/11/2025 (issued in compliance with an interim Bombay High Court order in WP No. 15047/2025) — the ILR publishes its selection lists on the college website only, with no centralised candidate-wise list, so no ILR closing rank can be quoted. PG (NEET-PG) cutoffs for MIMER are not published in any public dataset we could retrieve — see cited absences.

MIMER Medical College admissions

Application steps

1Qualify NEET-UG (the cycle's exam conducted by NTA)
2Check the state merit list (Group A = MBBS/BDS) published on the CET Cell notice board
3Report to the allotted college within the round's schedule with original documents and pay the FRA-approved fee; for post-stray vacancies, apply directly to the college's Institute Level Stray Vacancy Round

Eligibility

  • Entrance: NEET-UG merit/rank as cited in the fetched admission sources.
  • Management/NRI status: verify availability, eligibility, documents and fee instructions only in current official counselling or college notices; this page does not infer availability from absent source text.
  • Off-counselling route: no non-counselling route is supported by the fetched official sources; use official counselling/allotment and college reporting notices only.

No management quota
at MIMER Medical College

MBBS admission at MIMER runs entirely on NEET-UG merit through the Maharashtra State CET Cell CAP: about 85% State-quota seats plus the 15% Institutional/NRI Quota (I.Q.), which has its own CAP merit list — no seat is outside NEET. The CET Cell fee schedule lists Rs 11,30,000/yr as the private-college rate for AY 2025-26; all CAP allotments are subject to this fee. Seats left after Stray CAP Round 1 are filled by the college-run Institute Level Stray Vacancy Round under CET Cell Notice No. 27 — applications go directly to the college, separately for State and Institutional quota, and admitted candidates are reported back on the CET Cell portal. The college's FRA fee approval sheet additionally lists 'Management Seat Fee — Upto Five Times' (ceiling Rs 56,50,000/yr) which we cannot reconcile with the CET Cell fee schedule; this unreconciled line is disclosed and no separate management fee figure is published.

FAQ

MIMER Medical College FAQs

What does the full MBBS course cost at MIMER Pune?
Indicatively about Rs 50.85 lakh in tuition plus development fee for the 4.5 academic years at the frozen AY 2025-26 rate of Rs 11,30,000 per year, plus the one-time Rs 50,000 caution deposit and hostel/mess costs (which the college does not publish). Treat this as indicative, not a quote: FRA revises private-college fees each academic year, and the approved fee has moved non-monotonically — Rs 10,55,000 in 2022-23, Rs 10,42,500 in 2023-24, then Rs 11,30,000 from 2024-25.
When was MIMER established, and is it recognised?
The Central Government's Letter of Permission for the college is dated 30.11.1994 (MoHFW letter No. U.12012/12/94-ME(P), issued to the MAEER trust under Section 10A of the IMC Act); the college letterhead styles itself 'ESTD - 1995', its first academic session — both dates are quoted because official documents carry both. MBBS is recognised: the MCI recommended approval for the award of the MBBS degree with 100 seats in December 2003, and the intake was raised from 100 to 150 seats from AY 2014-15. The college is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, which granted Continuation of Affiliation for AY 2024-25 with intake 150.
What stipend do interns and PG residents get at MIMER?
The college's stipend declaration (signed by the Principal on 08/05/2026, for FY 2026-27) shows two columns side by side without stating which amount is paid in hand — we quote both: for MBBS interns, a State Government stipend of Rs 11,000 per month against a 'College's stipend' of Rs 7,500; for PG residents, Rs 89,489 / Rs 90,289 / Rs 91,079 per month (State Government rate, years I-III) against Rs 70,198 / Rs 71,189 / Rs 72,179 (College's). The April 2026 counts in the declaration were 154 interns and 110 PG residents. DM/MCh rows are marked 'Not applicable'.
Does MIMER have hostels, and what do they cost?
Yes — on-campus hostels with published capacity: undergraduate boys 94 rooms / 282 places, undergraduate girls 95 rooms / 285 places, PG residents 21 rooms each for boys (63) and girls (51), and an intern hostel of 17 rooms / 51 places each for boys and girls. Mess facility is available in both the girls' and boys' hostels, and the NMC pro-forma records 75% student accommodation. No hostel or mess fee figures are published anywhere official — confirm charges directly with the college at admission time.
What is MIMER's NAAC grade — A or B+?
66 on the four-point scale, second accreditation cycle, certificate dated July 05, 2022 and valid up to July 04, 2027. 025): that came from a 2013 first-cycle appeal outcome and has expired. org was under maintenance on our access date, so no NIRF rank is claimed for it.
How safe is the MIMER campus for students?
The college publishes an Anti-Ragging Committee page and lists a Women's Grievance Redressal Committee and a Students' Grievance Cell in its site navigation; the NMC pro-forma additionally records campus CCTV per the NMC advisory and a Hospital Infection Control Committee. Ragging complaints may be escalated to the national anti-ragging mechanism through the UGC-established national anti-ragging portal (referenced on the college's own Anti-Ragging Committee page).
