IIIT-A campus is 100 acres in Devghat, semi-rural Prayagraj — fully residential, all 8 hostels mandatory. BITS Pilani campus is 328 acres in Pilani, Rajasthan — semi-arid, fully residential, ~25 hostels accommodating ~12,000 students. Both have strong tech-club culture; BITS has more entrepreneurship density (BITS-incubated startups raised USD 1B+ aggregate). BITS Quark, Apogee and Oasis fests are pan-India destinations.
