BITS Pilani vs VIT Vellore

BITS Pilani (Rajasthan, deemed university) and VIT Vellore (Tamil Nadu, deemed university) are India two largest non-government engineering brands by intake and reputation. BITS Pilani admits through BITSAT, an internal entrance. VIT Vellore admits through VITEEE.

BITS Pilani sanctioned intake at the Pilani campus is approximately 900 across CSE, EE, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, EEE, ECE and Manufacturing. VIT Vellore intake is approximately 6,000 across CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, Bio-tech and 30+ specialisations. BITS curriculum is widely regarded as more rigorous with mandatory practice school internships.
