IIT Bombay vs BITS Pilani

IIT Bombay (Powai, Mumbai) and BITS Pilani (Rajasthan) are India two top tier engineering institutes from very different traditions — IIT Bombay is centrally-funded (NIRF Engineering rank 3), BITS Pilani is privately-funded deemed university.
