IIIT Allahabad campus is residential by mandate — every BTech, MTech and PhD student lives on-campus across 8 hostels (5 boys, 3 girls). Boys hostels: Sangam, Jamuna, Saryu, Tapti and Vindhya. Girls hostels: Mahanadi, Ganga and Krishna. Rooms are single-occupancy from second year onwards (twin-sharing for first-year on Sangam/Mahanadi). Hostel fee for 2026-27 is INR 18,000 per semester (room rent + maintenance) plus INR 8,500 monthly mess fee — total INR 1.05 lakh per academic year.
