Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences NEET-UG cutoffs

These are last-allotted (closing) NEET ranks computed by us from the official KNRUHS college-wise allotment lists for Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences — UG under code NIMG(078), PG under code NIMG(075). Because every Neelima seat is a Management-Quota seat, there are no government/Competent-Authority (Cat-A) cut-offs here: the UG figures are for the Management Quota's three sub-streams (Cat-B Telangana-local, Cat-B UR-open all-India, and Cat-C/NRI), and the PG figures are the MQ1 (management-quota sub-category) closing ranks from the final PG Management-Quota stray round of 28.02.2026. Closing ranks rose round-on-round as later phases filled remaining seats; we report the last-allotted rank in the final round each stream filled. NRI seats have the highest (numerically largest) closing ranks, as expected. These are official-allotment readings, not a separately published 'cut-off list'.

Research & rankings

Centres, patents, grants & MoU partners

Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, Ghatkesar is the medical college of Anurag University — a Telangana state private university (Telangana Private Universities Act, Act No. 11 of 2018) run by the Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust (founded 1982). It introduced its School of Medical Sciences in 2023 with a 150-seat MBBS Letter of Permission from the NMC Medical Assessment & Rating Board, and the intake has since grown to 200 (AY 2025-26). 2023). Anurag University is led by Chancellor Dr. B. Desai and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Archana Mantri, with Dr. B. Lakshmi Prasanna serving as Dean of the medical college; the institution lists its own anti-ragging, gender-equality and other statutory committees. The Anurag University rankings and accreditations seen on the university's pages (NAAC/NBA and NIRF rank bands) belong to the parent university's established programmes — not to this 2023 medical college, which has no NIRF Medical rank or medical-college NAAC of its own; nothing of that kind is claimed for the medical college. The first MBBS batch (2023 entry) is still in its pre-final years, so no MBBS examination pass percentage exists yet, and none is asserted. Note carefully: this is the medical college and is distinct from Anurag University's engineering, pharmacy and management schools.

FAQ

Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences FAQs

Is Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences recognised by the NMC?
MBBS is PERMITTED under a Letter of Permission, not yet recognised. The NMC Medical Assessment & Rating Board granted permission (F.No. NMC/UG/2023-24/000043, dated 09.03.2023) for the new college under Anurag University with 150 seats for AY 2023-24, u/s 26(1)(a)(b), 28(1)(2) and 61(2) of the NMC Act 2019; the intake was later raised to 200 for AY 2025-26. This is the normal status for a 2023 college — degree recognition is considered when the first batch reaches its final MBBS examination (around 2028). University pages describing it as 'recognised' overstate the position; the NMC's own status is what is cited here.
What are the hostel fees at Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences?
Published 2026-27 hostel annual fees for MBBS students range from Rs 1,20,000 to Rs 1,60,000 depending on sharing and AC option: 4-seater common washroom (non-AC) Rs 1,20,000; 4-seater attached washroom (non-AC) Rs 1,25,000; 4-seater attached washroom (AC) Rs 1,35,000; 3-seater attached washroom (non-AC) Rs 1,50,000; and 3-seater attached washroom (AC) Rs 1,60,000. Separate boys' and girls' hostels with Wi-Fi and hygienic meals are provided on campus.
Is Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences safe — are there anti-ragging and women's safety committees?
Yes. The college's statutory page lists an Anti-Ragging Committee and anti-ragging measures, a Gender Equality Cell (internal complaints mechanism for women's safety), a Grievance Redressal Committee and other statutory committees mandated for NMC-recognised colleges. The national UGC anti-ragging portal (antiragging.in) applies additionally to every medical college in India.
Is Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences the same as Anurag University's engineering or pharmacy college?
No. Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences is the medical college (School of Medical Sciences) of Anurag University, with its own MBBS and MD/MS programmes, NMC permission and KNRUHS-counselled seats. Anurag University's engineering, pharmacy and management schools are separate institutions with their own admissions and rankings. The NAAC/NBA accreditations and NIRF rank bands shown on the university's pages belong to those established programmes — not to the 2023 medical college.
