About VITEEE 2026
VITEEE 2026 — the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination — is the sole admission gateway to all four VIT campuses for B.Tech programmes: VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP (Amaravati), and VIT Bhopal. Exam Pattern (2026)

Eligibility
For B.Tech admission, candidates must be a Resident Indian, NRI, or PIO who has passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) — or PCB for select biotechnology programmes. Required: minimum 60% aggregate in PCM, with at least 50% in Mathematics individually. PCB candidates need 60% aggregate in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Source: vit.ac.in/admissions/overview.
Counselling and Fees
VITEEE counselling is conducted online with rank-based seat allotment. Counselling fee: ₹5,900 (non-refundable). Result declaration is tentatively the 2nd week of May 2026.
VIT operates a tiered fee structure with five fee categories assigned based on VITEEE rank — top-rank candidates pay lower category fees. Annual B.Tech fees at VIT Vellore range approximately from ₹1.98L (Category 1) to ₹4.95L (Category 5) for 2024-25, with similar ladders at the other three campuses. Hostel and mess: ₹1–1.4L per year additional.
