PES University vs Acharya Institute of Technology

PES University and Acharya Institute represent the top and mid tiers of Bangalore engineering. PES (est. 1972, Deemed, NAAC A) is a CS-powerhouse with ₹15 LPA average placements. Acharya (est. 2000, NIRF #163) offers wider programme options at lower fees. The placement gap is stark.

PES is far ahead academically. As a Deemed University, PES has full curriculum autonomy with a massive 720-seat CSE department and cutting-edge CS/IT programmes. PES designs its own syllabus and conducts PESSAT. Acharya is VTU-affiliated with 13+ programmes but lacks PES's research depth and curriculum innovation.
