COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling registration is open now. The registration-and-document-upload window opened on 30 May 2026 (2:30 PM) and closes on 8 June 2026 (2:00 PM) on the official portal, comedk.org. As of 5 June 2026 the window is still open, so if you have a valid COMEDK UGET 2026 rank, complete your counselling registration and document upload before the 8 June deadline.

Are you eligible?
To take part you need a valid COMEDK UGET 2026 rank and must meet the qualifying-exam eligibility: a minimum aggregate of 45% in the required subjects for General Merit candidates, and 40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates from Karnataka, as stated in COMEDK's process document. Supplementary or improvement candidates should still register within this same window.
How to register, step by step
1. Log in at comedk.org with your COMEDK UGET 2026 application number and password.
2. Complete the counselling registration and pay the counselling fee. COMEDK's process document lists a non-refundable counselling registration fee of ₹2,000 (convenience charges may apply). Confirm the amount and payment mode on the portal before paying.
3. Upload the documents COMEDK asks for. Per the process document these include your original photo ID proof, your SSLC/10th marks card (date-of-birth proof), your PUC/12th marks card, your 12th/PUC admit card or hall ticket, and your COMEDK Admit Card — plus an SC/ST/OBC certificate, Karnataka domicile certificate, OCI/PIO document or an under-17 declaration where applicable. Upload clear, correct scans: if a document is marked "rejected" at verification, you may not be allowed to continue.
4. Submit before 2:00 PM on 8 June 2026. Do not wait for the last hour — portals slow down near deadlines.
What happens after 8 June
After registration closes, COMEDK verifies and approves documents. Only approved candidates move to choice filling, where you list and lock your college-and-branch preferences. COMEDK then publishes a mock allotment so you can see where your rank stands, gives a window to edit and reorder preferences, and finally releases the Round 1 seat allotment. If you are allotted a seat you confirm your decision, pay the fee online, and report to the allotted college. All of these steps are expected in July 2026; the exact dates are awaited from COMEDK.
Important: if your Round 1 choice-filling form is left blank at the end of the choice-filling period, COMEDK will not consider you for the further process — so fill your choices even if you are unsure.
How the four rounds work
COMEDK runs four rounds of counselling, so a Round 1 result is not your only chance — but the later rounds carry stricter rules. In particular, there is no seat-cancellation option in Round 4: if you are allotted a seat there and choose not to join, the fee paid is not refunded. Plan your preferences with that in mind rather than treating later rounds as risk-free.
Tips to avoid costly mistakes
Register and upload on time — a costly mistake is missing the 8 June registration-and-document deadline.
Upload correct, legible documents — a "Document Rejected" status can end your participation.
Fill more choices, not fewer — there is no limit on preferences; list every college-and-branch combination you would accept, in true order, and never leave the Round 1 form blank.
Track your status — check your COMEDK login, registered email and mobile regularly; do not rely on SMS alone.
Check your rank before you lock choices
Before choice filling opens, map your COMEDK rank against last year's closing ranks. Our COMEDK tracker (collegeandfees.com/exams/comedk) lists the 2024 and 2025 closing ranks and the marks-to-rank curve for the 12 COMEDK colleges we track, so you can build a realistic preference list instead of guessing.
