Fees

The fee comparison below uses each college's applicable admission route. Christ University uses official admission-route fee rows; MSRIT uses management-quota/private-route fee rows where applicable. Christ University CSE published fee is ₹4,30,000/year; MSRIT CSE is ₹6,00,000 (annual fee).

Where Year 1 differs from later years, the amount is labelled as Year 1 payable rather than an annual fee.

Academics

MSRIT is significantly stronger in engineering academics. With VTU autonomous status, NAAC A+, and 60+ years of engineering pedagogy across 16 B.E. programmes, MSRIT has deep faculty expertise and strong industry partnerships. Christ University Engineering, while offering Deemed University autonomy and interdisciplinary curriculum, started engineering only in 2008 — its engineering research output and faculty depth cannot match MSRIT's established foundation.

Campus Life

Christ Kengeri offers a sprawling 78.5-acre green campus with modern infrastructure — ideal for students who value spacious campus life. MSRIT has a large ~30-acre campus in Mathikere with good metro connectivity, green environment, and well-maintained labs and hostels. Both campuses are pleasant; Christ wins on sheer size while MSRIT offers better city connectivity.
