Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology — Fees, Management Quota, Cutoffs, Placements 2026

VVIT Bangalore was established in 2009 under the Sri Vijaya Vittala Charitable & Educational Trust, which was registered on 05 April 2004 at the Krishnarajapuram Sub-Registrar office. The founding vision came from Founder-President Late Prof. K. Venkatagiri Gowda, a renowned London School of Economics economist who also served as Principal of UVCE Bangalore. The trust is currently chaired by Smt. Rukmini T, with Dr. Krishna Prasad T as Vice-President and K. Thyagaraj as Secretary.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or II PUC with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics. A minimum aggregate of 45 per cent is required for general category, relaxed to 40 per cent for SC, ST and OBC candidates domiciled in Karnataka. English must have been studied as a subject. Admission is routed through KEA KCET, COMEDK UGET or direct trust channels. Diploma holders can enter the second year through KEA DCET supernumerary seats.

VVIT Bangalore offers six B.E. programmes each with a sanctioned intake of 60 seats, totalling 360 undergraduate seats per AICTE Mandatory Disclosure 2023-24: Civil Engineering (since 2009), Computer Science & Engineering (since 2009), Electronics & Communication Engineering (since 2009), Mechanical Engineering (since 2009), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (since 2021) and CSE in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (since 2022). Five M.Tech specialisations are also offered at 18 seats each.

Per the AICTE Mandatory Disclosure 2023-24 approved by the State Fee Committee, the Karnataka Government / KEA quota UG B.E. fee was Rs 1,04,265 per annum and the PG M.Tech fee was Rs 90,450 per annum. COMEDK private unaided and management quota fees typically range from Rs 1.8 Lakh to Rs 2.5 Lakh per annum for VTU colleges of this tier. VVIT Bangalore does not publish an annual placement report with year-on-year highest, average and median package figures on its official Training & Placement page.
