RUAS runs separate boys and girls hostels at the Peenya campus. First-year students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and limited single occupancy by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 broadly fall in the ₹1,20,000-1,70,000 range with AC blocks at premium rates. Mess service includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian counters with North Indian, South Indian and limited Continental rotations. Wi-Fi, hot-water geysers, gymnasium access, study lounges, washing machines and CCTV are standard. Curfew is typically 9:30-10:00 pm with weekend leave requiring written parental confirmation. Bring your own mattress, two bedsheets, pillow, blanket, padlock, steel mug and bucket. Off-campus PG fallbacks at Peenya, Yeshwantpur and Mathikere are widely available at ₹8,000-14,000 per month with food. The Peenya Industrial Area location places RUAS close to many engineering firms — useful for project work and short-term internships.
