About Annapoorana Engineering College
Annapoorana Engineering College (Autonomous) is an engineering college in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Annapoorana Engineering College (Autonomous) is autonomous. It is affiliated to Anna University. Annapoorana Engineering College (Autonomous) offers 2 programmes at undergraduate level. They are Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Official sources identify the institution as Annapoorana Engineering College (Autonomous), Salem, Anna University examination code 6102 and TNEA counselling code 2648. The college website identifies Dr. A. Anbuchezian as Principal (M.E., Ph.D. in Structural Engineering). Anna University's Centre for Research lists Annapoorana Engineering College, Salem, for all departments through December 2027. Department pages list facilities and faculty but do not provide a college-wide laboratory count or faculty total. The official college website and 2026 TNEA document use the autonomous name and identify the Salem campus. The previously disputed vocational differently-abled seat entry is retained only because the opened 2026 PDF explicitly states the Annapoorana row: EE with OC 1 and all other listed categories 0. The Anna University page lists examination code 6102 and TNEA counselling code 2648.
