Overview
About Smt. Shantagauri Rasiklal Shah College of Physiotherapy
Smt. Shantagauri Rasiklal Shah (Rangwala) College of Physiotherapy is an allied health college in Kadi, Gujarat, established in 2014. Smt. Shantagauri Rasiklal Shah (Rangwala) College of Physiotherapy is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. Smt. Shantagauri Rasiklal Shah (Rangwala) College of Physiotherapy offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.). The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 50 seats. Official college page identifies this institution as Smt. Shantagauri Rasiklal Shah (Rangwala) College of Physiotherapy in Kadi, managed by Shah Meghjibhai Pethraj Education Society. It states establishment in 2014, affiliation with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, BPT as the principal programme, annual intake of 50, and a 4.5-year structure including a six-month compulsory rotatory internship. It mentions modern labs, a library, digital classrooms and seminar halls but gives no supported laboratory count or named simulation lab. The official university examination notice dated November 2025 lists the college as HNGU BPT examination centre code 160. The college page states a 45% BPT eligibility threshold, but that is outside this output schema. The official course-page FAQ inconsistently describes the duration as four years including the six-month internship. Eligibility is stated as 10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least 45% aggregate. The FAQ also mentions short-term certificate courses but gives no course names, intake, duration or 2026-27 approval, so no separate certificate-course rows are asserted. The official site uses SRS College and, in its facilities text, SRC College; this is treated as a naming discrepancy rather than a separate institution. The management pages use both Shah Meghjibhai Pethraj Education Society and Shri M.P. Shah Education Society; the college profile separately states that the college was established in 2014, while the society history refers to 1963. The current Gujarat council page states that GSCPT was repealed on March 1, 2025 and points to the State Allied and Healthcare Council; therefore no 2026-27 GSCPT approval is asserted.
