Overview
About RKDF Dental College & Research Centre
RKDF Dental College & Research Centre is a dental college in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, established in 2003. It is affiliated to Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University (SRK University), Bhopal. Its programmes are approved by the DCI. RKDF Dental College & Research Centre offers 2 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 9 at postgraduate level. They are Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 143 seats. Official college pages identify RKDF Dental College & Research Centre as a private institution established in 2003 at Misrod, Bhopal, affiliated to SRK University and recognised by DCI; the regulator college-list entry is S.No. 163. The college site states BDS and MDS are offered, with a stated intake of 100 BDS and 17 MDS on the about page; its teaching page lists 100 BDS seats for 2026 UG counselling. The site describes a full-fledged running OPD, laboratories, library, e-learning facilities and dental checkup camps, but does not publish a dental-hospital name, bed strength, dental-chair count, OPD-per-day figure, dated faculty totals, research metrics, attendance requirement, medium of instruction or exam pattern in the reviewed official material. Dr. M.C. Prasant is identified on the site as Vice Chancellor of SRK University, not established here as the college principal. MDS specialities listed on the official pages include Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Periodontology and Implantology, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, and Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Figures and claims are not independently treated as 2026-27 regulator permissions unless the cited page explicitly states them. Corrected classification: official SRK University pages identify this college as a constituent unit of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University, a private university; it is not classified here as a deemed-university constituent. The college website states DCI recognition and SRK University affiliation, but its older page reports aggregate BDS/MDS intakes that were not re-used because the current SRK constituent-units PDF gives programme and specialty-specific sanctioned figures. No dental chairs, dental OPD, parent-hospital name, regulator code, current 2026-27 permission reference, or quality credential was retained without a directly supporting official page.
