IGDTUW drives focused research across AI/ML, IoT, smart cities, sustainable energy, biotechnology, cyber security, signal processing and human-computer interaction with women-in-tech focus. The institute houses the Centre for Excellence in AI/ML (sponsored by MeitY), the Centre for Cyber Security (in collaboration with NCIIPC), the IoT and Embedded Systems Lab, and the Centre for Bio-informatics and Computational Biology.
