Overview
About CIHHM Foundation
CIHHM Foundation is a hotel mgmt college in Kolkata, West Bengal, established in 2020. CIHHM Foundation is privately managed and self-financing. CIHHM Foundation offers 5 programmes. They are Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Diploma, Cruise Management Diploma and Mixology & Bartending. The website lists hotel/hospitality management offerings and describes an Advanced Food Production Lab/basic training kitchen, A/C classrooms, hostel facilities, practical training, internships and workshops, but publishes no exact room count, kitchen count, faculty total, attendance rule, medium or exam pattern. Anupam Jana is identified on the official faculty page as Director and HOD of Admission. Promotional claims such as placement assistance and industry partnerships are not recorded as quantified facts. The official website says the organisation was established in 2020, is a Section 8 entity registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and describes itself as autonomous. The website claims to be an extension centre of Mahishadal Raj College under Vidyasagar University, but no current authoritative university affiliated-college listing naming CIHHM was verified. Ministry of Corporate Affairs registration, self-described autonomy, and the website's extension-centre claim are not by themselves academic recognition. No CIHHM entry was found in the NCHMCT sources checked for the 2026-27 context; no NCHMCT code, AICTE approval, university college code, degree-awarding body, accreditation, or NIRF result was established. The website advertises hotel-management and related programmes, but the recognition status of those programmes remains unverified.
