BITS Pilani Hyderabad runs separate boys and girls hostels on the Jawahar Nagar-Shamirpet campus. First-year B.E. students typically get triple-occupancy rooms with double rooms from the second year and single rooms from the third year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 broadly fall in the ₹1,20,000-1,55,000 range inclusive of mess. Mess service includes vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options with North Indian, South Indian, Hyderabadi and Continental rotations.
Scholarships
BITS Pilani Hyderabad runs the same merit-and-need scholarship programme as Pilani campus. The BITSAT Merit Scholarship covers 25-100% of tuition for top BITSAT rankers — Round 1 admits with high BITSAT scores typically receive substantial concessions. The Merit-cum-Need scholarship covers up to 80% of tuition for top performers from low-income families. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme. SC/ST students receive Central Government Post-matric Scholarship support. Sports admits at state, national or international level receive separate fee waivers.
