About AIEMP Knowledge Campus
AIEMP Knowledge Campus is a polytechnic in Asansol, West Bengal, established in 2015. AIEMP Knowledge Campus is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. AIEMP Knowledge Campus offers 6 programmes. These include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering, among others. The EoA approves Diploma courses affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education: Civil Engineering 30, Computer Science and Technology 60, Electrical Engineering 120, Mechanical Engineering 90, Metallurgical Engineering 30 (new), and Mining Engineering 60; it separately approves working-professional intakes in Electrical 60, Mechanical 60 and Mining 60. The college website states NBA accreditation for Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The website lists the principal as Dr. Lisha Misra but does not provide a qualification in the reviewed evidence. It names departmental faculty and describes laboratories, but does not provide a dated total faculty count or an official laboratory count. The college's publicly indexed admission policy is for an older JEXPO cycle; no 2026 official counselling notification was verified here, so no current test route is asserted. Parent hospital is not applicable to this polytechnic. The college website reports NBA accreditation for Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The 2026-27 AICTE EoA lists Civil Engineering (30), Computer Science and Technology (60), Electrical Engineering (120), Mechanical Engineering (90), Metallurgical Engineering (30), and Mining Engineering (60), plus working-professional intakes in Electrical, Mechanical and Mining Engineering (60 each). The state technical-board list identifies the polytechnic as private at the Bagbandi Road/Asansol address with code AIM. No separate 2026-27 state counselling seat matrix, fee notification, AICTE working-professional list, closed list, unapproved list, or NBA certificate was available among the opened sources.
