Overview
About Yadava Degree College
YES College Bengaluru is an arts, science and commerce college in Bengaluru, Karnataka, established in 1984. YES College Bengaluru is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Bengaluru City University. YES College Bengaluru offers 2 programmes at undergraduate level. They are B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) and BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration). The official college site identifies YES College Bengaluru/Yadava Degree College as established in 1984, run by the Yadava Education Society, affiliated with Bangalore University and guided by NEP 2020. Faculty statistics are inconsistent across official pages: the homepage states 1,900 students and 20 faculty members, the About page states 633 students and 7 qualified faculty, and the faculty roster names six degree-college staff plus PU-college staff. The roster shows one named Ph.D. holder, Dr. Kemparaju S. L.; no institution-wide Ph.D. total or student-faculty ratio is published. No specific funded project, MoU, research-centre or recent-publication list was published. The current official website presents the institution as YES College Bengaluru (ESTD 1984), run by the Yadava Education Society, while Bengaluru City University's 2025-26 college-wise listing names it Yadava Degree College, Madhavanagar and classifies it as a private college. The college website's undated About page still says affiliation with Bangalore University; the current Bengaluru City University listing is used for the affiliating university, with the former university name retained as a historical/source discrepancy. The BCU source located is for 2025-26; the college website is undated but presented as current.
