Overview
About West Godavari Institute of Science and Engineering (WISE)
West Godavari Institute of Science and Engineering is an engineering college in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, established in 2008. West Godavari Institute of Science and Engineering is autonomous. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. West Godavari Institute of Science and Engineering offers 7 programmes, 5 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. These include Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 330 seats. Official college pages identify this institution as West Godavari Institute of Science and Engineering (WISE), established in 2008 at Prakasaraopalem/Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, with JNTU Kakinada affiliation stated in official institutional documents. The mandatory-disclosure page exposes a 2024-25 EoA, but no 2026-27 approval figures were published in the reviewed official material. The current principal page names Dr. S Sambasiva Rao Dannina, whose listed qualifications are B.E., M.Tech. and Ph.D.; it also reports 32 research papers, one textbook and one granted national patent attributable to his profile, not a college-wide research total. Target-year coverage is therefore partial. The college website and its 2025 official document describe the institution as autonomous while affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. The available official AICTE EoA is for 2024-25, not the requested 2026-27; therefore 2026-27 approval/intake figures are not asserted. The official website lists B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, plus MBA. No authoritative NBA, NIRF, current university affiliated-list, AICTE closed-list, AICTE unapproved-list, 2026-27 counselling seat matrix, or fee-order evidence was established in the retrieved sources.
