About Veda Vijnana Shodha Samsthanam
Veda Vijnana Shodha Samsthanam is an institution in Bengaluru, Karnataka, established in 2010. Veda Vijnana Shodha Samsthanam is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Karnataka Samskrita University. Veda Vijnana Shodha Samsthanam offers 2 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. They are B.A. (Shastri) and M.A. (Acharya). The official page states that Veda Vijnana Shodha Samsthanam was established on 17 October 2010 and is distinct in purpose from the Veda Vijnana Gurukulam. It names affiliations with Karnataka Samskrit University for Shastri (B.A) and Acharya (M.A) in Vedanta, Vyakarana and Mimaamsa, Tumkur University as a recognised research centre, and SVYASA Deemed to be University for graduate degrees in Yoga and Spirituality. The same page reports 8 research scholars, but this is not a published count of recognised guides. The official site names Dr. Mahabaleshwar S. Bhat as Director and lists him, Vidwan Arun Raj and Vidwan Tilak M. Rao among the teaching faculty; it does not provide a dated total faculty statement or current 2026-27 academic regulations. The institution also publishes the peer-reviewed Shrutishobha journal, recognised by Karnataka Sanskrit University in an order dated 3 February 2014. This is a research institution and recognised research centre, not a conventional generic degree college. The official page states establishment on 17 October 2010, research activity in Vyakarana and Sankhyayoga, and affiliations/academic relationships with SVYASA Deemed to be University, Tumkur University and Karnataka Samskrita University. Karnataka Samskrita University is the degree-awarding body explicitly associated with Shastri (B.A.) and Acharya (M.A.) programmes; Tumkur University recognition is stated for research-centre activity. The institution is operated under Janaseva Trust. The Veda Vijnana Gurukulam is a distinct sibling educational unit, and Prabodhini Gurukulam is separately named in the official FAQ.
