Overview
About V.S.P.M.S. College of Physiotherapy
V.S.P.M.'s College of Physiotherapy is an allied health college in Nagpur, Maharashtra, established in 1999. V.S.P.M.'s College of Physiotherapy is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. V.S.P.M.'s College of Physiotherapy offers 3 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 4 at postgraduate level. They are Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B P Th.), Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) and Ph.D. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 60 seats. Official college pages identify the institution at Digdoh Hills, Hingna Road, Nagpur, affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). The site states three registered PhD scholars, but this does not establish a separately recognized PhD centre or number of recognized guides. The college website states that the unit was established in 1999 and is run by VSPMAHE (VSPM Academy of Higher Education), a trust. The official 2025-26 Maharashtra State CET Cell seat matrix lists institute code 6210 and BPTH total 100 seats; this is a state counselling seat-matrix figure, not the same reporting scope as the college/MUHS affiliation figures. The official MUHS continuation/extension letter for 2020-21 states B.P.Th. intake capacity of 60, while the college's About page states 50 undergraduate and 19 postgraduate students and its VSPM COP page states 60 undergraduate and 21 postgraduate students. These conflicting figures are retained only as a documented discrepancy; no single programme-intake value is promoted here. A 2023 NAAC peer-team visit is mentioned, but no NAAC grade or certificate naming this college was found.
