About Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College
Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College is an engineering college in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, established in 1996. Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College is autonomous. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur. Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College offers 10 programmes, 5 at undergraduate level and 5 at postgraduate level. These include B. Tech - Electronics and Communication Engineering (Mbu/Svec successor), B. Tech - Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B. Tech - Civil Engineering, B. Tech - Mechanical Engineering and B.Tech - Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (incl. Embedded Systems collaboration), among others. SVEC is an autonomous engineering institution in Tirupati, associated in the cited institutional material with JNTU Anantapur/JNTUA. The official principal page contains historical/inconsistent principal profiles; the latest clearly identifiable profile in the retrieved material is Dr. Y. Dileep Kumar, Principal i/c, while the 2021-22 mandatory disclosure names Dr. B. M. Satish. Faculty totals were not returned because available department figures are department-specific and dated/inconsistent rather than a current college-wide faculty list. Private, self-financed, non-minority autonomous engineering college run by Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust. The official site states that admissions for 2022-23 shifted to Mohan Babu University; this is a material current-status caveat. The available institution-specific AICTE disclosure is for 2021-22, not the target 2026-27; no 2026-27 course-level EoA or approved intake was located. Historical affiliation/autonomy evidence names JNTUA and reports permanent affiliation for 2018-19 to 2022-23.
