About Pithoragarh Institute of Technology & Management
Pithoragarh Institute of Technology & Management is an institution in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. Pithoragarh Institute of Technology & Management is privately managed and self-financing. Pithoragarh Institute of Technology & Management offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is B.Sc Agriculture. Its official site identifies three constituent units: Pithoragarh College of Nursing, Pithoragarh Institute of Biomedical Sciences (PIBS), and Pithoragarh Institute of Technology & Management (PITM). The group offers nursing, paramedical, agriculture, computer applications, business administration and hotel-management programmes through different units and affiliations. PIBS is specifically described as affiliated with HNB Medical Education University and recognised by the Uttarakhand Paramedical Council; its official page names Prof. Sandeep K.R. as principal and lists the psychiatric training tie-up. The official 2026-27 admissions page states that applications are open and lists the current programme portfolio and a 432-bed clinical-training network. No authoritative evidence was found for a dated faculty total, exact laboratory count, research-centre status, exam pattern, medium of instruction or attendance requirement. resolved to the PITM teaching unit within the Pithoragarh Group of Institutions; the group site states that PITM runs BCA, BBA, B.Sc Agriculture and hotel-management programmes. The current 2026-27 admission portal states that B.Sc Agriculture is affiliated with Soban Singh Jeena University. The college agriculture page separately states affiliation with HNB Uttarakhand Education University; this is an unresolved historical/current page conflict and is retained as a caveat rather than silently harmonised. Kumaun University's affiliated-college page exposes historical/current list links but the retrieved page does not visibly name PGI, PITM or Kaushalya Devi Foundation, so Kumaun affiliation is not established and is not recorded. The college site also names the Kaushalya Devi Foundation for Professional Studies and Research Society as the operating society. Hospital figures on the admission portal belong to external training hospitals and are not attributed here.
