PESCE was founded in 1962 by the People's Education Society (now People's Education Trust) under Late Sri K.V. Shankara Gowda, a former Karnataka Education Minister. It is among the oldest engineering colleges in the Old Mysore region.
Is PESCE Mandya a private university or a VTU college?
PESCE is a private-aided autonomous engineering college permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
