Overview
About O.P. Jindal Global University
O.P. Jindal Global University is an engineering college in Sonipat, Haryana, established in 2009. O.P. Jindal Global University is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to O.P. Jindal Global University. The official JGU website identifies O.P. Jindal Global University as a multidisciplinary private university founded in 2009 and lists its current schools, but the retrieved official pages do not identify a Jindal School of Engineering & Technology (JSET), engineering degree programmes, engineering faculty, engineering laboratories, or an engineering-specific principal/director. The official university recognition evidence is for O.P. Jindal Global University itself (Haryana private university; UGC Institution of Eminence), not for a separately affiliated engineering college. Search results for similarly named engineering schools point to OP Jindal University, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, which is a different institution and was excluded. The input name appears to misidentify the unit. Official current JGU pages list 12 schools and do not list a Jindal School of Engineering & Technology (JSET); current programme listings likewise do not show a B.E./B.Tech engineering school. The UGC sources establish JGU as a Haryana state private university; degree-awarding status is self-awarding.
