Overview

About Hindu College of Engineering (HCE)

Hindu College of Engineering is an engineering college in Sonipat, Haryana, established in 1999. Hindu College of Engineering is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Sonepat. Its programmes are approved by AICTE. Hindu College of Engineering offers 17 programmes, 11 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. These include Bachelor of Technology (CSE), Bachelor of Technology (CSE - AI/ML), Bachelor of Technology (ECE), Bachelor of Technology (ME) and Bachelor of Technology (CE), among others. Exact institution identity is supported by the official website: Hindu College of Engineering, Sonepat, established 1999, affiliated to Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, and described as AICTE-approved. The official 2026-27 admission page states B.Tech/B.Tech (LEET) admissions through HSTES counselling and institute-level/direct admission routes, with JEE/OLET-based merit; M.Tech admissions use GATE/qualifying-examination merit. The website reports current infrastructure and R&D themes, but the retrieved official pages do not provide a sufficiently specific, dated, independently itemized dataset for research counts, industry-MoU rows, attendance, medium, exam pattern, principal qualification, or 2026-27 course-wise AICTE intake. The faculty total of 34 is the sum of the department counts explicitly stated on the current staff-list page (CSE 7, Civil 4, ECE 6, Electrical 3, Mechanical 6, BCA 5, Applied Sciences 3); it includes non-engineering/support academic departments and is not a rank-wise faculty breakdown. The official site uses both “Hindu College of Engineering” and “Hindu Engineering College.” The college states that it is AICTE-approved and currently affiliated with DCRUST, Murthal; its historical affiliation was Maharshi Dayanand University from 1999 to 2011. The official 2026-27 fee page publishes programme fees, but no target-year AICTE EoA application number, Permanent ID, AICTE course table, NBA accreditation, NAAC grade for this college, NIRF result, university college code, or college-specific 2026-27 sanctioned intake was located in the opened sources.
