Overview
About Malwa Institute of Technology
Malwa Institute of Technology is an engineering college in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, established in 2004. Malwa Institute of Technology is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. Malwa Institute of Technology offers 11 programmes, 8 at undergraduate level and 3 at postgraduate level. These include Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Artifical Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Electronics & Communication (Ec) and Electrical & Electronics (Ex), among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 564 seats. Official college pages identify the institution as Malwa Institute of Technology, Indore, governed by Indus Global Educational & Welfare Society and affiliated with RGPV Bhopal and DAVV Indore. The site names Dr. M.S. Murthy as Director and Dr. Kranti Pandey as Vice-Principal, but does not explicitly identify a Principal. It describes laboratories, including AI/ML, robotics and IoT facilities, and reports 200+ industry partners without naming individual partners; therefore no industry-tieup rows were added. No official dated faculty totals, research metrics, academic attendance rule, examination pattern or medium of instruction were published in the reviewed pages. The college website states affiliation to both RGPV Bhopal and DAVV Indore; the engineering affiliation is recorded as RGPV because the official MP counselling material identifies the engineering unit under the RGPV-linked AICTE identifier. The college website's Affiliation & Accreditation and Extension of Approval sections are placeholders and do not expose a target-year AICTE EoA document. No official 2026-27 AICTE course-level EoA, AICTE closed-list entry, AICTE unapproved-list entry, NBA accreditation entry, current RGPV affiliated-college row, 2026-27 MP seat-matrix row, or MP AFRC fee order naming this college was located in the reviewed official results; therefore no target-year intake or fee is reported. The official admissions page states B.Tech admission through JEE Main and lists the engineering branches.
