KIIT runs an extensive on-campus hostel system on its 25-acre Bhubaneswar campus with separate hostels for boys and girls. First-year B.Tech students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and single occupancy from the second year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 broadly fall in the ₹1,40,000-1,90,000 range inclusive of mess. Mess service includes vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Jain and continental options across multiple mess centres serving North Indian, Bengali (Odia cuisine), South Indian and Continental rotations.

What is the B.Tech fee at KIIT Bhubaneswar for 2026?
KIIT Bhubaneswar B.Tech tuition for 2026-27 is charged per semester in three branch groups. Group 1 (Civil, Mechanical, EEE, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Chemical) is ₹1.75 lakh per semester. Group 2 (ECE, Electronics & Computer Science, some EEE specialisations) is ₹2.00 lakh per semester. Group 3/4 (CSE, IT, CSE-AI/ML, Cyber Security, Data Science, IoT) is ₹2.20 lakh per semester. Add a one-time ₹75,000 at admission (counselling, registration kit, laptop) plus ₹1,000 registration and ₹1,000 examination fee per semester. 4-year tuition works out to roughly ₹14 lakh for core branches and ₹17.6 lakh for CSE specialisations.
