Graphic Era University (GEU), formally Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), is a private deemed-to-be-university located in Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand. The institute was originally established in 1993 as the Graphic Era Educational Society (later renamed the Graphic Era Group), founded by Dr Kamal Ghanshala with the vision of providing high-quality professional education in the Garhwal Himalayan region of northern India and addressing the technical-education gap in the hill state of Uttarakhand.

First-year B.Tech students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and single occupancy from the second year by seniority.
