GEC Haveri is located on a 33-acre hillock in Devagiri village, approximately 10 km from Haveri town in the Haveri district of Karnataka (PIN 581110). The campus is surrounded by water bodies and offers academic blocks, engineering laboratories, a central library with VTU consortium access and SC/ST book bank, a boys hostel with mess, sports facilities, an auditorium, cafeteria, medical room and placement cell. The nearest railway station is Karajgi (4 km) and the nearest airport is Hubballi (75 km).

GEC Haveri offers four B.E. programmes — Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering — each with 60 sanctioned seats, for a total UG intake of 240 seats plus a 5% Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) of 12 additional seats, per Karnataka government notification ED 170 TEC 2025.
