Overview

About Florence Degree College

Florence Degree College is an arts, science and commerce college in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Florence Degree College is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Bangalore University. Florence Degree College offers 3 programmes at undergraduate level. They are B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), B.B.A (Bachelor of Business Administration; also described on the Courses page as Bachelor of Business Management) and B.C.A (Bachelor of Computer Applications). Florence Degree College’s official course page identifies Bangalore University as its affiliating university; no current Florence-specific 2026-27 successor-university listing was located. The official website contains historical 2017 admission/news content, and its homepage states that NAAC accreditation is applied for and still under process; no NAAC grade is therefore reported. The faculty page lists nine personnel, including a librarian and physical instructor; seven listed roles are teaching/academic roles. No official funded-project, MoU, research-centre or recent-publication disclosure was located. The academic regulations are taken from Bengaluru City University’s official NEP regulations, which are the applicable university-level regulations located for Bengaluru affiliated colleges. The official website is undated and contains legacy news from 2016-17, but its current affiliation is corroborated by Bangalore University's 2025-26 affiliated-college list. The website uses both Devanahalli Rural Education Trust (established 1984) and Srinidhi Education Trust/Society (1994) in different sections; these are trust/group dates, not a confirmed college establishment year. Bangalore is normalized to Bengaluru. The campus extends over about 10 acres.
