About Dr. Virendra Swarup Memorial Trust Group of Institutions
Dr. Virendra Swarup Memorial Trust Group of Institutions is an engineering college in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Virendra Swarup Memorial Trust Group of Institutions is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Its programmes are approved by AICTE. Dr. Virendra Swarup Memorial Trust Group of Institutions offers 4 programmes at undergraduate level. They are B.Tech - Computer Science Engineering (CSE), B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering (ME), B.Tech - Civil Engineering (CE) and B.Tech - Electrical Engineering (EE). Official VSGOI pages identify the institution at Ragendra Swarup Knowledge City, Unnao, on a 50-acre campus, and state that B.Tech programmes are affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh. The consolidated faculty PDF reports 77 personnel across engineering, MBA and applied-sciences departments; therefore the total is not an engineering-only faculty count. The official mandatory-disclosure search result states NBA accreditation is not applicable and lists B.Tech, MBA and Polytechnic as not accredited; no target-year 2026-27 AICTE EoA course table or approved intake was located in the reviewed official material. The director page names Dr. Ajay Kumar Gaur, but does not publish a qualification. Facilities pages mention computer labs, a multimedia internet lab, library, boys' and girls' hostels, auditorium and other campus resources, but do not state a college-specific laboratory count. The website currently advertises admissions for 2026-27. The official site identifies this unit as VSGOI and states that B.Tech/MBA are affiliated to AKTU; Polytechnic is associated with BTEUP. Consequently no engineering regulator recognition row with a target-year approval status is asserted. The official affiliation page contains an AICTE approvals heading but no linked approval document or identifiers.
