Overview
About CERT Group of Institutions
College of Engineering and Rural Technology is an engineering college in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, established in 1999. College of Engineering and Rural Technology is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Its programmes are approved by AICTE. College of Engineering and Rural Technology offers 4 programmes at undergraduate level. They are B.Tech — Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech — Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech — Mechanical Engineering and B.Tech — Civil Engineering. Official CERT pages identify this unit as the College of Engineering & Rural Technology, Meerut, established in 1999, AICTE-approved and affiliated with AKTU. The official brochure names Dr. Dinesh K. Sharma as Director-CERT and lists engineering department heads, but does not provide a complete dated engineering faculty total or role-wise faculty counts. It describes department-specific laboratories and hostel facilities, but no single officially stated laboratory total was recorded. The available official material does not publish target-year 2026-27 AICTE course-wise EoA/intake details, NBA accreditation, faculty totals, attendance rule, medium, exam pattern, recognised research-centre status, patents, funded projects, or named industry MoUs. The college website's AICTE statement is therefore retained only as an undated institutional claim, not as 2026-27 regulator recognition. No programme approval rows are added because the schema has no programme array and no target-year course table was found. No supported current NBA, NAAC, NIRF, counselling seat-matrix, or state fee-order value was found. The website also states affiliation with the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education for the diploma wing; that is not used as the degree-awarding university.
