It is affiliated to Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - K. K. Birla Goa Campus holds a NAAC grade of A++, valid until 28 November 2029. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - K. K. Birla Goa Campus offers 10 programmes at undergraduate level. The 2023 academic regulations specify semester registration, continuous/internal evaluation and a comprehensive semester-end examination; they expressly state that no fixed minimum attendance percentage is stipulated. A medium of instruction was not explicitly stated. The institute is autonomous/deemed and degree recognition is through BITS Pilani's deemed-university status rather than an affiliated-college relationship. The Goa Campus was commissioned in August 2004 and inaugurated on 5 May 2006. BITS Pilani is an Institution Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956; the Goa campus is part of the university's multi-campus system and is self-awarding rather than affiliated to a state technical university. The 2025-26 official bulletin confirms the campus and legal status. The NAAC result cited is institution-level for BITS Pilani, not a separate Goa-campus accreditation.
