Overview
About Adhunik Institute of Education and Research (AIER)
Adhunik Institute of Education and Research is an allied health college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow. Adhunik Institute of Education and Research offers 2 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. They are Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT). The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 100 seats. Official website pages identify BPT and MPT under Adhunik Institute of Education & Research. The 2026–27 course page states BPT (4½ years; 10+2 with Biology and 45%) and MPT (2 years; BPT with 50%), and names CCS, IAP, DSP and UPSMF for BPT and CCS, IAP and DSP for MPT. A separate official BPT page instead names ABVMU and states 120 seats, creating an unresolved affiliation/session contradiction; its text also contains an inconsistent 3-year/6-semester duration. The site’s claim of 25 laboratories is for the wider AGI campus/group and is not attributed here to this exact allied-health unit. ABVMU’s indexed 2021–22 seat-matrix result names the college and BPT, but it is not the target 2026–27 cycle and therefore is not used as current evidence. The current ABVMU affiliated-college page names Adhunik Institute of Education and Research, Ghaziabad, as code 2010324 under Allied and Healthcare for the 2025-26 list. It separately assigns code 2500327 to College of Applied Education and Health Sciences, Meerut; 2500327 is therefore not attributable to Adhunik. The 2021-22 ABVMU seat matrix is historical and is not used to assert a current intake or fee.
