RVCE 2025 Placement Offers: Branch-wise CTC Snapshot

·

A branch-wise look at 483 RVCE 2025 placement offer records compiled by CollegeAndFees — 438 with a numeric package, a ₹16 LPA disclosed median, and a ₹56 LPA top offer. These are offer records, not uniquely placed students, and the figures do not imply a placement rate. For the full branch table, open the RVCE placements section.

What this RVCE 2025 placement dataset covers

This article summarises 483 placement offer records compiled by CollegeAndFees for RV College of Engineering (RVCE), spread across 13 B.E. branches and dated between 26 July and 29 November 2024 (the 2024-25 placement cycle). Of these records, 438 disclose a numeric package; the remaining 45 are marked not available (N/A) and are excluded from every median on this page. A single student may receive more than one offer, so offer records are not the same as uniquely placed students, and these figures do not imply a placement rate.

The 438 disclosed offers come from 97 distinct company labels (counted case-insensitively). Every package figure here is offered CTC — the cost-to-company quoted on the offer — and not take-home pay. For the full branch-wise offer table as it appears on the college profile, see the RVCE placements section.

Headline RVCE 2025 offer numbers

  • Offer records: 483 across 13 branches (26 Jul – 29 Nov 2024).
  • Disclosed packages: 438 of 483 records carry a numeric CTC.
  • Overall median (disclosed): ₹16 LPA.
  • Highest disclosed offer: ₹56 LPA — Zomato × Blinkit, CSE, SDE 1 role.
  • Distinct company labels: 97 (case-insensitive).

Because 45 records are N/A and one student can hold several offers, the median and counts describe the offer pool, not the proportion of the batch that was placed.

Branch-wise offer snapshot

The table below lists each branch's offer-record count, how many of those disclose a numeric package, the median disclosed CTC, and the highest disclosed CTC. Medians are computed only on records with a numeric package (N/A excluded). For the placement table on the college page, open the RVCE placements section.

Offer records, not unique students. Medians exclude N/A. CTC is offered cost-to-company, not take-home pay.

Reading the branch-wise patterns — cautiously

A few observations hold up across the dataset, but each comes with a caveat:

  • CSE leads on both offer-record volume and ceiling. It accounts for 128 of 483 offer records (about 26%) and the single highest disclosed offer (₹56 LPA). Its median of ₹19.6 LPA is also the highest among branches with meaningful volume. Caveat: the dataset does not include branch intake or unique-student counts, so this cannot establish a higher per-student placement rate.
  • ECE has the second-largest offer-record count. Its 108 offer records carry a ₹17.5 LPA median, with Ansys at ₹33.59 LPA the top disclosed ECE offer.
  • AIML and ISE sit close to CSE on median. AIML (₹18.76 LPA median) and ISE (₹17.88 LPA) each posted a ₹38 LPA top offer (Eightfold.ai for AIML/ISE). Their record counts (47 and 54) are smaller than CSE's, so the medians are promising but based on fewer rows.
  • Several core branches have lower disclosed medians. Mechanical (₹10.5 LPA median), EEE (₹11.88), EIE (₹10), ETE (₹11.5) and Chemical (₹10.9) cluster between ₹10–12 LPA, while their highest disclosed offers range from ₹18.33–31 LPA.
  • Treat small-sample branches as indicative only. Aerospace (7 records), Chemical (7), Biotechnology (5) and Civil (2) have so few disclosed rows that a single high or low offer moves the median sharply. Their numbers are reported for completeness, not as stable estimates.

None of these comparisons should be read as a placement rate. A branch with more offer records is not automatically a branch where a higher share of students was placed, because the dataset counts offers (which can repeat per student) and excludes students with no offer.

Notable disclosed offers in the dataset

A handful of high-value disclosed offers stand out (all figures are offered CTC, not take-home):

  • Zomato × Blinkit — ₹56 LPA (CSE, SDE 1) — the highest disclosed offer in the dataset.
  • Eightfold.ai — ₹38 LPA (AIML / ISE).
  • Arcesium — ₹36 LPA (CSE).
  • Meesho — ₹36 LPA (CSE).
  • Confluent — ₹35 LPA (CSE).
  • Ansys — ₹33.59 LPA (ECE).
  • BitGo — ₹33.5 LPA (AIML / CSE).
  • PhonePe — ₹32.75 LPA (AIML / CSE / ISE).

These are individual offer records. They illustrate the ceiling recruiters reached at RVCE in this cycle; they are not representative of a typical offer, which the branch medians above describe better.

Important caveats and what this is not

  • Offer records, not unique students. 483 records can include multiple offers to the same person. Do not treat 483 as 483 placed students.
  • No placement rate is inferred. The dataset does not contain batch size or the count of students without an offer, so no placement percentage can be computed from it.
  • Medians exclude N/A. The 45 records without a numeric package are dropped before any median is calculated; including them would change the result.
  • CTC is not take-home pay. Offered CTC includes components (joining bonus, ESOPs, variable pay) that are not guaranteed cash in hand.
  • Not an official RVCE source. This is a CollegeAndFees editorial summary of compiled offer records, not an official RVCE placement report. Where the repository shows an independently sourced figure, that figure is cited on the college page; this article does not invent a source.
  • Date window. Records span 26 July to 29 November 2024; offers dated outside this window are not represented here.

How to use this when comparing colleges

  1. Open the RVCE placements section for the full branch-wise table as rendered on the college profile.
  2. Compare branch medians, not single top offers, when judging typical outcomes — a single ₹56 LPA offer does not describe the typical CSE package.
  3. Pair placement data with fee figures when weighing return on investment; offered CTC minus total fee is a rough, not exact, return signal.
  4. For branch choice, cross-reference with college comparisons and the Bangalore engineering college directory.
